Sweet and Sour Thai Wings

These yummy chicken Wings are made using the special Kanas Thai sweet chili sauce that adds an extra layer of flavor to this dish. Originated in Thailand, the spice levels in this dish can be adjusted according to one's taste buds. They're simple to make at home and have a sweet flavor with a hint of crunch from the fried chicken. These chicken wings are going to stand out amongst all the snack or appetizer recipes.

Ingredients

    • Oil2 Tbsp
    • Red Chili Flakes1 Tsp
    • Chicken300 Grams
    • SaltTo Taste
    • Black Pepper1 Tsp
    • Garlic Paste1 Tbsp
    • FlourAs Required
    • WaterAs Required
    • Red Chili Powder1 Tsp

    • Kanas Thai Sweet Chili Sauce1/2 Cup
    • Sriracha Tomato Ketchup1/2 Cup
    • Coriander1 Tbsp
    • Sesame SeedsFor Garnish

Preparation

  • In a bowl add chincken wings, oil, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, garlic paste, and mix well.
  • Cover the bowl with a cling sheet and let it marinate for half an hour.
  • For coating, in two different bowls take flour and water.
  • Add red chili powder, salt in flour and mix it well.
  • Take chicken wings and coat it in flour then in cold water and repeat the process again.
  • Shallow or deep fry the wings for 5 minutes on each side with a medium flame.
  • Take the wings out on a tissue paper to get rid of the excess oil.
  • For sauce, in a bowl add kanas sweet thai chili sauce, kanas sriracha tomato ketchup and coriander. Mix them all together.
  • Add the fried wings in the sauce and mix it well.
  • Take them out on a platter and sprinkle sesame seeds over it for garnish. Enjoy!
