Spicy Chicken Paratha

Ingredients

    • All Purpose Flour2 Cup
    • Wheat flour1 1/2 Cup
    • SaltTo Taste
    • Baking powder1 Teaspoon
    • Icing sugar2 Tablespoon
    • Clarified butter1 Cup
    • Egg1
    • Mayonnaise1/2 Cup
    • Luke warm MilkAs required
    • Oil2 Tablespoon
    • Chicken250 Grams
    • Ginger Garlic Paste1 Teaspoon
    • SaltTo Taste
    • White Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
    • Black Pepper1 Teaspoon
    • Chicken powder1 Teaspoon
    • Garam masala1 Teaspoon
    • Red chili powder1 Teaspoon
    • Cumin powder1 Teaspoon

Preparation

  • For the dough, in a bowl, add all-purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, baking powder, icing sugar and mix.
  • Add clarified butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Add egg and mayonnaise to the flour mix and combine everything.
  • Now pour enough milk to make the dough.
  • Knead and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • To prepare chicken filling, in a pan, drizzle 2 tablespoons oil and add the chicken.
  • Saute until the chicken changes color.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, salt, white pepper, black pepper, chicken powder, garam masala, red chili powder, cumin powder and mix well.
  • Add in cheddar cheese and cook for a few minutes.
  • Take the dough and make balls. Flat roll the dough balls using a rolling pin.
  • Apply clarified butter on the flattened dough
  • Roll it from one end to another like a roll and stretch to make longer.
  • Fold the paratha dough together once again and roll evenly.
  • Add chicken filling and mozzarella cheese to the flattened paratha dough.
  • Place another flattened dough on top of it and seal the sides.
  • Roll out gently to increase the size of paratha.
  • Heat a flat pan and place on paratha on it.
  • Cook from one side and flip to cook the other side.
  • Drizzle clarified butter and cook it from both sides evenly.
