Peas1 cup
Carrots1 cup
Potatoes, Cubed4 – 5
SaltTo taste
Butter2 tablespoon
Onion1, finely chopped
Oil1 teaspoon
Green Chillies3, finely chopped
Tomatoes2, cubed
Turmeric Powder½ teaspoon
Garlic Paste½ teaspoon
Paprika PowderA pinch
WaterAs required
Food Color1 teaspoon
Corianderfor garnish

Preparation
In a grinder, add chaat masala, coriander powder, peppercorn, red chili powder, black cardamom, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and cinnamon sticks. Grind into a fine powder.
In a pot add water, peas, potatoes, carrots and salt. Bring to a boil.
Add the boiled vegetables into a bowl and mash until smooth.
Grease a pot with butter and add in onions, saute until brown.
Add oil and stir in green chilies and tomatoes. Cover with a lid and let the pot simmer for 5 minutes.
Uncover the pot and with a masher, mash the mixture inside before adding in the previously mashed vegetables. Mix well.
Add turmeric powder, garlic paste, paprika powder, water, and the ground masala.
Pour in some food color and mix well. Garnish with coriander and squeeze a lemon.
Grease a pan with butter, and sprinkle in some coriander.
