Ingredients
Split chickpea lentil500 grams
Water1 litre
Ground turmeric1 teaspoon
Butter3-4 tablespoons
Oil3-4 tablespoons
Saltto taste
Chili flakes1 teaspoon
Preparation
To boil lentils: heat water in a medium pot and add the split chickpea lentils.
Add the ground turmeric, stir and bring it to a boil.
Remove the scum that comes at the surface of the pot and boil the lentils until completely cooked.
Now blend the lentils into a smooth paste.
Then in small pot heat butter, oil, add the blended lentil and stir well
Now add salt, chili flakes and cook for 2-5 minutes on low flame.
