Fresh coriander, chopped½ cup
Mint leaves, chopped½ cup
Green chilies, chopped½ cup
Lemon juice1 tablespoon
Vinegar1 teaspoon
WaterAs required
Chicken½ KG
Oil3-4 tablespoons
Tomato, diced2
Red whole chili4-5
Ginger garlic paste1 tablespoon
Saltto taste
Ground cumin½ teaspoon
Ground coriander½ teaspoon
Potatoes, cut into halves3-4
Cream2 table spoons
Garam Masala1 tablespoon
whole green chilies3-4
Sliced tomatoes2
WaterAs required
Fresh coriander, choppedFor garnish
Preparation
For Hara Masala: In a grinder combine coriander with chopped mint, green chilies, salt, lemon, vinegar, water and blend into a thin paste. Keep it aside for later use.
In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat, saute tomatoes and red whole chilies.
Add chicken and saute.
Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
Now add the hara masala paste, salt, ground cumin, ground coriander and mix.
Add potatoes and stir.
Add cream, garam masala, green chilies, sliced tomatoes and mix.
Add water if needed, mix, cover the lid and slow cook over low flame for 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander.
