Hara masala chicken is a Hyderabadi delicacy made with chicken, marinated in green chillies, mint and coriander leaves masala and cooked in a rich gravy
For Hara Masala: In a grinder combine coriander with chopped mint, green chilies, salt, lemon, vinegar, water and blend into a thin paste. Keep it aside for later use.
In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat, saute tomatoes and red whole chilies.
Add chicken and saute.
Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
Now add the hara masala paste, salt, ground cumin, ground coriander and mix.
Add potatoes and stir.
Add cream, garam masala, green chilies, sliced tomatoes and mix.
Add water if needed, mix, cover the lid and slow cook over low flame for 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander.
