Chicken Pops


Delicously spiced chicken rolled into perfect little minced meat balls and served with skewers for an easy-to-make and easy-to-eat appetizer. Perfect for serving at Iftaari or alongside your main dish at special occasions.

    • Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Coriander½ bunch
    • Green Chillies, chopped3-4
    • Ginger-garlic paste1 teaspoon
    • Chilli Flakes1 tablespoon
    • Chicken boneless, mince250 grams
    • SaltTo taste
    • Eggs2, beaten
    • Bread CrumbsAs required


  • In a pan, roast cumin and coriander seeds.
  • In a blender add chopped coriander, green chillies, roasted cumin seeds, roasted coriander seeds, ginger-garlic paste and chilli flakes to make a paste.
  • Mix all the ingredients with minced chicken.
  • Scoop up some of the mixture and shape into small balls.
  • Coat the balls with beaten eggs & bread crumbs respectively.
  • Keep these chicken lollipops in refrigerator for half an hour and then shallow fry them.
  • Pierce each chicken ball with half a shashlik skewer so that they resemble lollipops.
