This irresistible fried chicken is coated with buttermilk, which makes is light and crispy on the outside, and deliciously juicy and tender on the inside. Perfect as a light snack or an appetizer to go with your main dish; this recipe is easy, simple, and a fan favorite!

Ingredients

    • Buttermilk½ jug
    • Mixed herbs1 teaspoon
    • Garlic powder1 teaspoon
    • Ginger powder1 teaspoon
    • Cumin seeds1 teaspoon
    • Paprika Powder1 teaspoon
    • Black pepper1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Egg1, whisked
    • Chicken Boneless½ KG
    • All-purpose flour1 cup
    • Corn starch1 cup
    • Paprika powder1 tablespoon
    • Mixed herbs1 teaspoon
    • Baking powder1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Mayonnaise1 cup
    • Ketchup1 cup
    • Black pepper1 teaspoon
    • OilFor frying

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine butter milk with mixed herbs, garlic powder, ginger powder, cumin seeds, paprika powder, black pepper powder, salt and whisk well.
  • Add chicken pieces and let it marinate for 2 hours.
  • In another mixing bowl add all-purpose flour, corn starch, paprika powder, mixed herbs, baking powder, salt and mix well.
  • Then add 1 whisked egg in the marinated chicken. And mix.
  • Now coat each chicken in all - purpose flour.
  • Heat oil in a wok and deep fry all the chicken pieces until brown. Take them out on a tissue paper when done.
  • For the sauce: combine mayonnaise with ketchup, black pepper and mix. Present it with the fried chicken.
