Bohra Kaju Kheer

    • Clarified Butter2 Tablespoon
    • Cashew Nuts5 Tablespoon
    • Milk1 Liter
    • Almonds2 Tablespoon
    • Pistachios2 Tablespoon
    • Cardamom powder1/2 Teaspoon
    • Sugar4 Tablespoon
    • Khoya3 Tablespoon
    • AlmondsTo Garnish
    • PistachiosTo Garnish


  • Take clarified butter in a pan and let it melt.
  • To the pan, add cashew nuts and saute them.
  • Take out the cashew nuts when roasted, and set aside.
  • Now pour milk in the pan and stir on high flame.
  • Cover and cook for 6 - 8 minutes.
  • Add in almonds, pistachios, cardamom powder, sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add the roasted cashew nuts and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Lastly, add khoya and cook until the milk reduces to half.
  • Garnish with almond and pistachios, and serve hot or cold as per your preference.
