Milk1 litre
Saffron¼ teaspoon
Sugar1 cup
Cardamom powder1 teaspoon
Sagudana, soaked1 cup
Almonds, crushedfor garnish
Pistachio, crushedfor garnish
Preparation
In a small pot add milk and bring a slow boil.
Then add saffron and stir well.
Add the sugar, cardamom powder and stir until it is dissolved.
Add soaked Sagudana and stir on low flame until the Kheer thickens.
Add the crushed almonds, crushed pistachios and stir again.
