Originated in Asia, Aloo-Bhindi is a punjabi style dry vegetable side dish made with potatoes and Okra. This dish is the perfect balance of taste and nutrition. It goes well with paratha or naan.

Ingredients
Oil2 – 3 tablespoon
Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
Garam Masala1 teaspoon
Kalonji1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
SaltTo taste
Red Chilli Powder2 teaspoon
Cumin Powder1 teaspoon
Potatoes3 – 4, sliced
WaterAs required
Okra½ KG
CorianderFor garnish
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seed and give it a stir. Then add garam masala, kalonji, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix well for 2 minutes.
Add water and give it a mix. Let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
Add okra and mix for 2 minutes. Let it simmer for 05 to 10 minutes.
Garnish with coriander.
