Ingredients

    • Oil2 - 3 tablespoon
    • Onion, sliced1
    • Black mustard seeds1 teaspoon
    • Fenugreek seeds1 teaspoon
    • Yellow mustard seeds1 teaspoon
    • Tomatoes, chopped1
    • Aam choor powder1 teaspoon
    • Garlic paste1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Red Chili Powder1 teaspoon
    • Yogurt½ cup
    • Pigeon Pea Lentils, boiled2 ½ cups
    • Kalonji1 teaspoon
    • WaterAs required
    • Lemon Juice1 tablespoon
    • Coriander choppedFor garnish
    • Green chiliesFor garnish

Preparation

  • In a small pot, heat oil over medium flame and saute onions until brown.
  • Add black mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, yellow mustard seeds and saute well.
  • Add tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add aam choor powder and mix.
  • Add garlic paste, salt, red chili powder and mix.
  • Add yogurt and mix.
  • Add cooked lentils and mix well
  • Add kalonji, mix, add water and mix well.
  • Add lemon. Garnish with chopped coriander.
