Traditionally, this chicken dish is cooked on a Tava or flat griddle, hence the name. The boneless chicken is cooked over high heat with fresh tomatoes, onions chillies and a range of spices. It goes well with Naan and paratha.
Oil2 – 3 tablespoon

Red Chilli Powder1 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder½ teaspoon
Cumin Powder2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
Chicken Boneless½ KG
Ginger Paste1 teaspoon
Garlic Paste1 teaspoon
Chaat Masala½ teaspoon
In a pan heat oil over medium heat, then add cardamom, cinnamon, onions and fry until brown.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well.
Add chicken, give it a mix then add ginger paste and garlic paste.
Add tomatoes and mix well until it becomes tender.
Add Chaat masala, green chillies and mix well.
Garnish with coriander and give it a mix.
