Masala Chops

Bursting wonderful flavors, these mutton chops cooked in creamy sauce is a delicious appetizer, with a palatable taste and aromatic scent.

Ingredients

    • Mutton Chops6
    • Red Chilli Powder1 teaspoon
    • Black Pepper Powder1 teaspoon
    • Cumin Powder1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Garam Masala1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Ginger Garlic Paste1 tablespoon
    • Yogurt1 cup
    • Green Chillies2, finely chopped
    • Lemon Juice1 tablespoon
    • Turmeric Powder½ teaspoon
    • Oil2 tablespoon
    • Oil2 – 3 tablespoon
    • Fried Onions½ cup
    • Aluminum FoilAs required, strips

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl add mutton chops, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt and mix well.
  • Then add green chillies, lemon juice, turmeric powder, oil and mix well until oil combines with the chops. Let it sit there for about 20 minutes.
  • In a large pot add the marinated chops with oil and give it a mix.
  • Add fried onions and mix well. Let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the meat tenders.
  • Using the aluminum foil strips, wrap it around the edge of the chops.
