A scrumptious one bowl dish from the Chinese cuisine which is spicy yet mouth-watering that no one can resist. Beef chili dry is a combination of crispy beef stir fried with minimal yet spicy gravy. It can be served with fried rice or garlic rice.
Mix beef strips with mixed herbs, soya sauce, white pepper, black pepper, chicken powder, garlic ginger paste, salt to taste, egg, corn flour, and all-purpose flour in a bowl until well coated and marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok and fry the marinated beef until cooked. Place on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
In the same wok heat oil and saute ginger garlic paste.
Add ground black pepper, salt, chicken powder, and soya sauce. Saute.
Now add oyster sauce and Thai chilli paste. Mix, add water, stir, and bring it to a boil.
Add the cooked beef and mix well.
Add diced onions, Thai chilies, and spring onions. Mix. Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
For the garlic rice: heat oil in a wok and saute chopped garlic.
Now add cooked rice and mix.
Add soya sauce, black pepper, and chicken powder. Mix well.
