Malai Prawns


Originated from Bangladesh, this is a heavenly prawn curry with a barbecue touch. Rich and creamy in texture, cooked at a slow pace, this delicious curry is the perfect recipe for traditional seafood lovers. Pair it with boiled rice or Naan to get the perfect taste.

    • Butter1 tablespoon
    • Oil2 tablespoon
    • Onion1, finely chopped
    • Prawns½ KG
    • Ginger Paste1 teaspoon
    • Garlic Paste1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Cinnamon1 stick
    • Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Lemon Juice1 tablespoon
    • Cumin Powder1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Red Chilli Powder1 teaspoon
    • Cream½ cup
    • Tomato½ cup1, finely chopped
    • Cashews8 – 10
    • Mozzarella Cheese100 grams, shredded
    • CorianderFor garnish


  • In a pot add butter and mix with oil. Then add onions and saute till they are brown.
  • Add prawns and give it a mix. Then add ginger and garlic paste. Mix well.
  • Add salt, cinnamon, cumin seeds and mix well.
  • Add lemon, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Add cream and mix. Then add chopped tomato, give it a stir and simmer for 05 to 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Add cashews, mozzarella cheese and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander.
