This scrumptious spinach dish has an added flavor of Bottle gourd which makes anything it is used in tastes better. This healthy and tasty package is loaded with the iron and fiber.

Ingredients

    • Bottle gourd, cubed500 grams
    • Spinach, chopped500 grams
    • Oil¼ cup
    • Onion, sliced2
    • Tomato paste1 tablespoon
    • Ginger garlic paste1 teaspoon
    • Saltto taste
    • Ground cumin1 teaspoon
    • Ground coriander1 teaspoon
    • Red chili powder1 tablespoon
    • Ground turmeric1 teaspoon
    • Cloves1 teaspoon
    • Green chilies4
    • Yoghurt½ cup
    • Chicken powder1 teaspoon

Preparation

  • In a small pot heat oil and saute sliced onions until brown.
  • Now add tomato paste and stir well.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix.
  • Add salt, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, ground turmeric and saute.
  • Now add cloves and add cubed bottle gourd and stir.
  • Add chopped spinach and stir well.
  • Add green chilies, yoghurt and stir well.
  • Add chicken powder, stir, cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes and serve it with naan.
