A classic cauliflower and meat curry popular across the subcontinent for its rich hearty taste and texture. A perfect blend of vegetables and meat, this dish is as delicious as it is nutritious. Serve with roti or chapati with a side of raita for the perfect lunch or dinner option.

Ingredients

    • Oil4 – 5 tablespoons
    • Onions, sliced2
    • Beef boneless, cubed700 grams
    • Garlic paste1 teaspoon
    • Ginger paste1 teaspoon
    • Peppercorn½ teaspoon
    • Cloves½ teaspoon
    • Tomatoes, chopped2
    • Saltto taste
    • Ground coriander½ teaspoon
    • Cumin Powder1 teaspoon
    • Garam masala1 teaspoon
    • Red chili powder1 tablespoon
    • Turmeric½ teaspoon
    • Yogurt½ cup
    • Wateras per needed
    • Cauliflower½ KG
    • Corianderfor garnish
    • Green chiliesfor garnish

Preparation

  • In a large pot, over medium flame, heat oil and saute onions until light brown.
  • Add boneless meat, ginger paste, garlic paste, peppercorn, cloves and stir well.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add salt, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric, mix well, cover the lid and cover for 8 minutes.
  • Then add water and stir.
  • Add yogurt and stir well. Let it simmer for 05 minutes.
  • In another small pot, heat water over medium flame and blanch cauliflower for 3 minutes.
  • Add the strained cauliflower in the gravy and mix well.
  • Garnish with green chilies and chopped coriander.
