Chicken Tikka Handi

Chicken tikka is one of the most popular flavors of subcontinental cuisine, and with this delicious and easy handi recipe, this dish can be created easily and quickly at home. Ingredients

    • Chicken boneless, cubes½ kilogram
    • Saltto taste
    • Deghi chilli powder1 tablespoon
    • Food color½ teaspoon
    • Garam masala1 tablespoon
    • Ginger garlic paste1 tablespoon
    • Lemon juice1 tablespoon
    • Yogurt1 cup
    • Charcoalfor steam/flavor
    • Fresh coriander, choppedfor garnish
    • Green chiliesfor garnish

Preparation

  • Combine cubed chicken with salt, deghi chilli powder, chilli flakes, food color, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, and yogurt. Stir until well-coated, and marinate for 1 hour.
  • In a medium sized pot, heat oil and add in the marinated chicken. Cook on high flame.
  • Then on low flame, stir in cream and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  • Add chopped coriander, stir, and then give charcoal steam for 5 minutes.

    European Union has banned 4 widely used food colors. They have letter number ID. Red 40 is among them . The effect of these banned food dyes are worse than LEAD for the brains of growing children. They taste nasty as well.

    Want to try this today, but do we add cream of yogurt ? In the i ingredients it says yogurt, but preparation it says cream ?
