Ingredients
Oil2 - 3 tablespoons
Onions2, Sliced
Chickpeas1 Cup
Peas1 Cup
WaterAs required
Red Chilli Powder1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder½ teaspoon
Garlic Paste1 teaspoon
Ginger Paste1 teaspoon
Garam Masala1 tablespoon
SaltTo taste
Fennel Seeds1 teaspoon
Khatai Powder1 teaspoon
Green Chilli1, Chopped
Tamarind Chatni1 teaspoon
Potatoes1 – 2, cubed
Tomatoes1 – 2, chopped
Preparation
In a wok add oil and onions. Mix well until the onions turn brown.
Then add chickpeas and peas. Mix well.
Then add water, red chilli powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Then add salt, fennel seeds, khatai powder, green chillies, tamarind pulp, potatoes, tomatoes and mix well.
Squeeze a lemon. Then add coriander powder and cumin yogurt. Mix well.
Then add chaat masala and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
