Lahori Red Chicken


This creamy red chicken curry is prepared with various fragrant spices and tomatoes, which lend it its unique color and flavor. This is a Lahori specialty and is served with hot naan, thinly rolled chapati, or steamed rice.

    • Oil3 – 4 tablespoon
    • Ginger-Garlic Paste1 tablespoon
    • Chicken700 grams
    • Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Chilli Flakes1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Yogurt½ Cup
    • Turmeric Powder½ teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Garam Masala1 teaspoon
    • Lemon1
    • Green Chillies4
    • CorianderFor garnish


  • In a large pot add oil, chicken and mix well until chicken it tenders.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, cumin seeds and mix well.
  • Add coriander powder, chilli flakes, salt and stir.
  • Then add yogurt and stir. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala and mix well.
  • Add green chillies and let it simmer for 05 to 10 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and stir. Squeeze a lemon and Garnish with coriander.
