Besan Ka Halwa


This delicious Halwa is made using besan, ghee and suji. It is also a savory dessert made on special events. The hearty aroma and taste will satisfy ones Halwa craving.

    • Clarified butter1 cup
    • Gram flour1 cup
    • Semolina½ cup
    • Sugar½ cup
    • Milk½ cup
    • Cardamom powder1 tablespoon
    • Water½ cup
    • Almond,chopped
    • Pictachiochopped


  • Heat clarified butter in a small pot. Add semolina and gram flour. Roast until the colour changes.
  • Add sugar, milk, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Add water and mix until the halwa leaves the base of the pot.
  • Add chopped almonds and chopped pistachio, and stir well.
