Ingredients

    • Oil3 – 4 tablespoon
    • Onion, sliced2
    • Tomatoes, cubed2
    • Mutton, Boneless½ KG
    • Ginger garlic paste1 teaspoon
    • Yogurt½ cup
    • Cloves1 teaspoon
    • SaltTo taste
    • Red Chili Powder1 teaspoon
    • Turmeric1 teaspoon
    • Deghi Red Chili1 teaspoon
    • Cumin Seeds1 teaspoon
    • Cumin powder1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Cinnamon Sticks1 teaspoon
    • Peppercorn¼ teaspoon
    • WaterAs needed
    • Arvi, peeled½ KG
    • Green Chilies3 – 4
    • Coriander, choppedFor garnish

Preparation

  • In a large pot, heat oil, saute onions until brown.
  • Add tomatoes and mix.
  • Add mutton meat and mix vigorously. Then add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add yogurt and mix well.
  • Add cloves, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, deghi red chili powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, peppercorn and mix well.
  • Add water, stir, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add peeled arvi and mix.
  • Then add green chilies, cover the lid and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Now garnish with coriander.
