Weird food trends usually take social media spaces by a storm and leave people wondering how something of the sort can be edible. Instagram is the biggest platform where these trends came in existence, from which most are just straight away bizarre. GLITTER COFFEE:
Some people really took ‘put glitter everywhere’ too seriously. Glitter coffee became a big trend in 2017 when an Indian coffee place called Coffee by Di Bella started using edible glitter in their coffees, which later prompted other places to opt for it also. It does take your Cappuccino from 0 to 100; however, we aren’t really sure how it’ll look on the inside.

 

GALAXY FOOD:
Everything looks aesthetically pleasing with galaxy colors, and this is why the food industry is becoming weirder day by day. Galaxy desserts are becoming a thing now from cakes to lollipops and doughnuts, but we hope they taste as great as they look.

 

CHEESE TEA:
‘Cheese’ sounds delicious and so does ‘tea’ but when you combine them together, we can’t really comment on the taste. This weird trend started in Taiwan and immediately took over USA and UK, clearly showcasing that it became widely popular in these countries.

 

DEEP FRIED EVERYTHING:
Food is getting crazier day by day in the 21st century. American food trends have taken big decisions about deep frying everything. We mean everything! From pizzas and ice creams to all sorts of desserts, frying is taken way more seriously now.

 

RAINBOW FOODS:
The most aesthetically pleasing food is rainbow food. This kind of food is taking over social media quite rapidly. From rainbow burgers, rainbow sushi, rainbow bagels and even rainbow hot dogs, everything looks better in seven colors.

 
CHARCOAL TRENDS:
One of the biggest and strangest foods ever produced are charcoal based. It is interesting how this food trend came about, but it has become so much of a norm now that charcoal ice cream and burgers are available everywhere.
