When bored with the same old type of food every day, it’s frustrating finding something new to try.

We ventured out to find something unique – something that would not only spike our taste buds but would be original to its core. And then we came across a small restaurant at Chaar Minar Chowrangi called “Al Baghdadi”.

Al Baghdadi is a recently opened place by individuals looking to create an infusion of Arabic with a mix of Desi spices. They rose to fame for their famous “Sawaya Chicken” and their best seller “Shawarma Fries”. The Sawaya Chicken remains the most special dish they have, considering its slow cooked for 9 hours to get the perfect mouth-watering juiciness and make the Chicken tender.

While it’s difficult to find the perfect blend between Arabic and Desi cuisine, considering one is mild and the other more filled with spices, Al Baghdadi has successfully managed to win the hearts (and stomachs) of its customers – and ours too!
