Matar Gosht

    • Oil4 tablespoon
    • Onions, sliced1
    • Beef meat, cubed½ KG
    • Ginger garlic paste1 tsp
    • Tomatoes, diced2
    • Cloves1 teaspoon
    • Peppercorn1 teaspoon
    • Cinnamon Stick1
    • Cumin seeds1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Cumin powder1 teaspoon
    • Red Chili Powder1 teaspoon
    • Turmeric powder1 teaspoon
    • Deghi Chili Powder1 teaspoon
    • Yogurt3 tablespoon
    • WaterAs required
    • Green Peas½ KG
    • Green Chilies4
    • Coriander, choppedFor garnish


  • In a large pan, heat oil and saute onions until brown.
  • Add boneless beef cubes and saute. Add ginger garlic paste and mix.
  • Add tomatoes, cloves, peppercorn, cinnamon, cumin seeds and stir well.
  • Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, deghi red chili, and mix well.
  • Add whipped yogurt and mix well.
  • Now add water, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes until the meat is cooked.
  • Add green peas, green chilies, mix and cover the lid for another 8 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
