Ingredients

    • Chicken1 KG
    • Oil5 – 6 tablespoons
    • Onions, sliced2 - 3, sliced
    • Garlic Paste1 teasp 1 teaspoon
    • Ginger Paste1 teaspoon
    • Cumin Powder1 teaspoon
    • Coriander Powder1 teaspoon
    • Garam Masala1 teaspoon
    • Royal Cumin Seeds½ teaspoon
    • Red Chili Powder1 teaspoon
    • Tomatoes, chopped2
    • Yogurt, whipped½ cup
    • Wateras needed
    • Oil2 – 3 tablespoon
    • Okra½ KG

Preparation

  • In a large pot, heat oil over medium flame and saute sliced onions.
  • Add chicken, ginger garlic paste and saute until no longer pink.
  • Add salt, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, royal cumin seeds, red chili powder, diced tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add yogurt and mix well. Now add water if needed, cover the lid and cook for 8 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
  • In a frying pan, heat oil over medium flame and saute okras until cooked.
  • Add the cooked okras in the chicken gravy and mix.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
