Ingredients

    • Potatoes, cut into cubes½ KG
    • Wateras per needed
    • Oil2 – 3 tablespoons
    • Onions, sliced1 cup
    • Butter2 tablespoons
    • Chili flakes1 tablespoon
    • Coriander seeds crushed½ tablespoon
    • Ground cumin1 tablespoon
    • Garam masala½ teaspoon
    • Saltto taste
    • Spring onions, choppedfor garnish

Preparation

  • In a large pot heat water, add the cubed potatoes, cover and let it boil for 10 minutes until cooked.
  • Mash the potatoes.
  • In a frying pan, heat oil, sliced onions until translucent. Then add butter and mix.
  • Add garlic paste and mix.
  • Add the mashed potatoes then add red chili flakes, crushed coriander seeds, ground cumin, garam masala, salt and mix well.
  • Garnish with spring onions.
